My last 2 corsas (and maybe the first, cant remember) always heat up over the 100 mark if they sit stationary whilst the engine is on. My last was a 1.2 8v, now i have the 1.4 sport, x14xe.

Any ideas?

Mine did this too, it turned out that the radiator was blocked so I replaced it and sorted the problem.

I think it's normal for old cars to heat up when stationary on a warm day, but if it's doing it at the moment then I would think about getting a replacement rad...

I've had 3 Corsa's, my Brother has had 4, my mates have had 10 between them, and they all do it.

Always had it with the corsa just the way it was.

Golf just sits at 90 when warmed up and never moves.

Mine did it, it was terrible. But the fan dropped the temperature quickly, but then it'd keep rising again. Annoying. Fiesta does it too.

The gauge on a corsa makes the temperature look worse than it is because there is only 10 degrees between the bottom and top lines. nothing to worry about unless your car reaches 120 degrees +
