Not a smoker but just wondering if there is a cig lighter on it (for satnav) and is it just a bung / cover over the lighter on mine?

If not what would you wire one up to?

its probs just a cover mate but the wire should be behind it there easy to fit

Should just be a cover. Doubt they will change the wiring loom just for that. Take the ash tray out and see, its only 4 screws

You need a new ashtray from a scrappy mate.

If your car had an MFD then the wiring for the tab lighter will be taped in the loom behind the head unit. Pick that out and plug/play into the new ash tray unit

shouldnt need a new ash tray, i would have thought the collar on the unit would fit the exsisting hole?

just find a barrel (socket) for the hole, remove the ash tray, find the two black one brown wires, connect black and brown up, reassemble with barrel assembled in ash tray....job done!

Mine didn't? I fitted one to mine...

Rather than Find a "Barrel" Surely it's easier to take a Philips screwdriver to a scrappy and undo the 4 screws
