rite... i have a cosa b gls and if i unlock my doors im sure the boot is supposed to aswell but it doesnt so if i have the car running and want to open the boot i have to turn it off take the keys out of the ignition and unlock the boot because it wont let me leave it unlocked and take the key out  any one have the same problem???

um, try turning the boot lock a different way then locking/unlocking doors...i know you can boot to open with or without doors

The boot lock. The bit where the key goes in - make sure that is horizontal*  then it will be fine 
*it might have to be vertical. Try them both, one way works

Ispent a year having same problem. This was why my boot didnt open, so if that isnt working then dunno (id have thought it was your problem though tbh)

i think my lock must be fudged because im pretty sure iv had it horizontal and vertical and it still doesnt open when i open the drivers door

Do you definitely have central locking? I think some models didn't have it(??)

Post-97 GLS's definitely had Central Locking. May be some connection is a bit fubared?

i had the same problem as haimsey it was proper winding me up but all you have to do is make sure the slot for the key is in the horizontal position. Should help. if not ??????
