Sorry there may have already been a topic with this,
but how do i fit some 6x9s on a 97 corsa vegas?

it has some pioneer speakers where the rear seats are,
but i think they are just what a previous owner has fitter their self,
the 6x9s i want to fit them in the parcel shelf.

thanks.

You will need a jigsaw.

mark out the holes where you want them then drill a hole to get the jigsaw blade in.

whip round the marked hole with the jigsaw. job done

Assuming you're not running them off a separate amp and that they are 4 ohm speakers.
1) disconnect the standard rear speakers
2) extend the wiring to the standard speakers so that it runs to the 6 x 9's
3) attach either the brown or white wire to the 6 x 9's and have a listen.

Try swapping the wires to the 6 x 9's over to see/hear for any difference in sound as all you'll be doing is swapping the "phase."

One setting will sound better and have more bass than the other.

Hope that helps.
