i have a problem with my car hesitating once its warm and when i bin sat at traffics lights for a min or so, sometimes it will rev upto 2k then hold there for a couple secs then rev round as normal. the eml light has never come on. its so annoying. can anyone help me please??? oh and also when the windows are down i get a smell of fuel in the car and had it checked out for leaks and there is none.

please can anyone help me as i have no idea? could it be coil pack? or plugs or idle position valve? or that one on the air intake?

Usually the air flow meter if no EML.
