Is it a big job to put a 1.4 16v into a nova?

No, use the nova mounts, corsa ones wont fit a nova.
Use nov shafts too.
Goes straight in.
I have a 1.6 16v in mine.

i hald did a conversion then got stuck on the wiring. well i was 16
'nother one, one day
but yea its pretty simple. just use nova mounts, and an 8v alternator, alternator bracket and bottom pulley and the relevant belt. nova shafts, mpi fuel pump and possibly lines

yea should do, reason you need an 8v one is because its single v belt. just use that alternator, the bracket off the 1.2 and the belt

You can keep the standard wide belt alternator setup, its a tight fit to the chassis leg, but it does fit and doesn't rub.
I use a single v setup on mine tho.
