its a 1998 corsa sport 1.4 16v and the speedo stopped working tonight any advice on what it could be ? or is it jsut the speado cable every thing else is fine

is it electric or cable?
does it have abs?
Is it a 1.4 sport?

press the two button in on the clock diplay whilst driving, if this gets a reading in kmph (will flash on time display) of a speed readout, then the cable is fine and a signal is being sent. If this reads 0 change the sender in the box. Or it could be fuse 17, check that first.

on my 1.6 sport there was not a sender in the box. If there is no sender your speedo runs off the abs. My abs sensor had split causing the speedo not to work.
