right my corsa redtop has started spittin on me really badley (started to misfire)
changed the leads and and plugs and also the dizzy. started it up and gave it a little rev, now when i rev it slowly she runs fine gradually gets up the rev range fireing on all 4 the minute u boot it or rev hard it misses and runs like a sack of shit
did a compression test and all 4 were fine so out of ideas.
only thing i can think of is maybe overfueling, i have a 3.5 bar fuel regulator as well if that makes any diffence ???

3.5bar FPR WHY????
What have you done to the engine to need this much fuel?
OR are you just thinking more fuel = more power even with no extra air

to be fair there not unreliable engine, when u thinbk about the age of the engine plus moving it from one chassis to another u will be gettin some problems but who cares a few problems here and there but when it works its so much fun

are they proper leads or cheap ones?
are they the right plugs?
I had the same problem when my shitty std plugs fell to bits, slapped some new ones on and it was fine.
I was also running the wrong spark plugs once and they made it run like shit, I was running the double ended ones not the single.

well got some nice bosch superfours in there and the leads are decent silcone jobbies and seems to run ok untill i boot it but then does stink of overfueling so will change the fuel pressure later and see if that helps

well change dthe fuel pressure regulator back to a 2.5 (bugger to find in my pile of crap lol) but its done but still ran ruff
then thought i would check the rotor arm as never did when i changed the dizzy cap. wot a suprise found it bent slightly missing connectgors for 1 and 4 cylinders so changed that and running fine.
