right can i connect my samsung d900 phone to my kenwood dvd headunit and if so what with?

Depends what sockets your stereo has really, but yes, it can definately be done with the right cable. Won't be more than a fiver. That's assuming Samsungs have a proper jack socket.

Does your samsung have a normal 3.5mm headphone socket? If it does, then does your Headunit also have one? If they both have the 3.5mm socket then you need one of these...

If it does have a headphone jack on your Samsung, but not on your headunit, then you'd need to plug into the RCAs on the back on the headunit. You'd need one of these...

With it being an all singing, all dancing head unit, does it not havea USB port? you could just plug it into the USB slot and that should work.

You could also use an FM modulator, but you don't particularly need a branded Samsung one. Just a cheapo one off ebay will do. They just plug into the 3.55mm jack socket again.
