ive been told that if i want more power from an exhaust system the best bet would be to go with an off the shelf product? yes or no? it is cheaper but i like the sound of a custom manifold, decat and cat-back done at the same place how i like it will it make any difference? i know there isn't big gains from just an exhaust but plans are to allow to breath better i.e exhaust then inlet and mapping

Custom as always.
Can choose bore size then and how loud you want it.
The exhaust it's self wont make any difference.

a properly designed custom system will always be better than some off the shelf parts thrown together.
