Hi all,
My car seems to have developed a problem within the last hour.
I seems that when ever you put the throttle down more than half way it judders, the management light comes on and the car tries to stall.
But if you use the higher gears and lightly apply the throttle then it drives ok.
I managed to get round my mums house on my lunch break and had a check over the connections and hoses but everything seems ok. Then I turned the car off back on again but now it wont start.
The engine turns over fine and sounds healthy but it wont fire. All it does is make some popping noises if I pump the throttle a bit.
Could this be a fuel problem or something else and is the fuel pump supposed to make a noise when you turn the ignition on as mines not making a sound.
Please help as I need the car for work.

Fuel pump should arm itself when the car is turned on. If it's not, could be down to the relay or the pump itself.
Has the EML come on? What engine is it?

Sorry, its a C16XE Early Corsa GSi and no the EML isn't on all the time.
Where abouts are the relays for the fuel pump and how easy is a fuel pump to change

Not too sure on fuel pump change. I'm sure it's fairly easy to get to under the back seat.
The relay for the fuel pump should be near the fuse box (pretty sure someone will correct if wrong)
