Hi,
Currently changed pads & discs and instead of clamping the brake hose, I let it just drip now the whole system is flooded with air.
I bled the front left side ok, but now after bleeding the front right side, its just spitting air out, instead of any fluid.
The resovoir is topped up to MAX
If I...
1) Tighten the bleed screw and pump the brake pedal a few times, keeping pressure on the last stroke, then loosen the bleeder nipple, nothing happens.
or 2) Pump the brake pedal while the bleeder nipple is loose then I can just hear a lot or gas gettign squeezed in/out.
I can no longer get brake fluid flowing from the bleeder nipple.
Possible damage to central fluid resovoir / diaphram ?
Any thoughts?

do no:1 servil times over also make sure u havent ran ou of brake fluid.
also make sure the pots are back in.
have a look at the resovoir and if theres an grime or anything give it a good clean, also look for any kinks in the break line

arent you meant to start furthest away from the servo when bleeding brakes?
i.e rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver

After getting bleeded at a garage, brakes were perfect, but now the pedal travel amount, has greatly increased.
Heard its possibly the seal on the Master Cylinder.
Are these seals re-placable or is it a new Master Cylinder? How can I check?
Also how hard is it to get to it?
Thanks

take the origional cylinder off an strip it down regrease the seals with silicon lube and replace them and bleed with a pressure bleeder or vacuum bleeder as the seals flip over.

Which seal is it exactly, I removed resovoir and the master cylinder.
The 2 main seals that were joing the resovoir to the cylinder was ok.
So am I supposed to take this cylinder apart? Can you tell me how? I can't seem get into it.

OK, Master Cylinder removed!

Seal that held the resovoir and cylinder: Working order.

Secondary Piston & Seal: Working order.

Now the main piston n springs left inside: ...

-that aint coming out too easily, but is the problem likely to be in here? Or are the seals that I have seen been the most probable cause, thus the Master Cyilinder in perfect working order?
