How hard is it to take the seats out and change the fabric can it be done your self?

Getting a repair can't be too much money.

I got a quote to repair the drivers bolster in my Astra....OK its leather but it was only £65+VAT

can it be changed yourself to any fabric and how easy is it? is there step by step guide?
