A box, with a flap in the top, that would match in with a bed. Then have a tv that could be remotly put up and down in the box?

All i was thinking was a big box, to match the size of the bed, then trim it to match the bed material.
Then make a frame within the box that lifts up on linear actuators, the top of the tv would push the flap open.
Really cant be that hard can it :/

What, so the bed mattress gets pushed upwards and you can see the screen?
Sure it can be done, but why would you want that?

You can get quite a few sideboards which hide the TV inside on a remote platform. Expensive for what they are though.
Think this is better...

Here's one we did

Making the cabinet would be easy enough but its the electronics inside that you would need to buy or you'd need to know alot about programming etc..
There are lots of limit switches, motors, actuators, etc..
You can buy the kits but there very expensive, id just settle for it on a table or on the wall at then end of my bed to be honest!
