On a corsa 1.0 12v there is a blue/red but its onli a thin wire and one coming off my c25xe loom is quite thick like me .....X

Put them 2G4 (always wanted to use that ) and see what happens.

Have you got a haynes book for the V6? Have a look at the wiring in the book and work it back from there.

Maybe, however, they'll also have the answer if you can read a wiring diagram.

take out the glovebox, and to the right there are the fuel pump relays. the thick blue/red wire is in there
