If the key is slightly damaged meaning the button that you press then can you just buy a new key or do you need to take it back to vauxhall for them to put a brand new central locking in?
The central locking works when the key decides im pressing in the right place. The person who had it before has dug their nails into the sponge part and so you have to press it in the right place to open the doors up.
So the question as above is do i just need a new key (fixed) or a brand new central locking?
Or do i get an alarm system or does that now work with central locking or is it two different things?

only place you can get it is vauxhall, your key has a code they will be able to find it out, u will only need new keys which they can order for you, although you will be very shocked by the price, they may be able too repair key

all you need is the remote, around £30
plus say another £30 to program
might aswell get a complete new key, and use the fucked out as a spare
be around £80 all together i guess
or bring the key and car to me and i can program it

i rang them and they said it will be around 90 quid because the old owner lost the car pass so ive got to send off for one of them first then wait till they get all the details back. then i can go and get the new remote. Im not even sure what i need to be fair. If they give me a new remote then how am i going to put it on my key or is it a seperate thing ?
