Hi, I know theres an FAQ for map reading lights, but all I want to know is, if I was going to wire extra lights to come on when the doors open, where would I get the live and earth wires from?
Permanant live and earth off courtesy lights?
Where would I find the earth off the courtesy lights to?

From where the interior light is fitted.

I think ive figured it out from the related posts at the bottom -
i will need to connect the lights to a permanent live, have a switched earth and connect another earth to the door jam earth.

Would this allow the lights to come on when the doors open, and also when they are switched on by me?
Hope this makes sense
