Just curious about how you de-restrict the air box?!?!

Anyone whos knows anything please feel free to drop a HINT or two Or even how to do the whole thing?!?!

Does it actually make any noiceable difference??

take airbox out

drill holes below the filter and on the left hand side of the box (side furthers from engine)

put airbox back in

so does drilling these holes below the air filter make such difference to the noise, i already have a K&N air filter at the moment, will the holes do much?

will make it raspy if you drill little holes and more of a deeper note if you drill big holes, i say take the top pipe out of the lid of the air box, then the bottom one as the 90deg bend it has is a bit of a restriction and put the panel filter in it, only thing you'll find with de restricting it will be the car will idle about 100rpm higher. I've got to get a new airbox for my b as its causing to much air to come it and plays havock when trying to mot the bugger... And the only change i've noticed in the way the car drives was that the power band became more promenent at 4000rpm
