If you need an extra short damper I do them for 65 a piece. can handle up to -100mm springs and are fully adjustable.

You wont be able to stop the falling out, when jacked up. just make sure someone is holding them in the cup when its lowered down slowly. or maybe try not to jack the car up as much (fully) if possible.
As for shocks. most uprated shocks will be fine. however the uprated shock may bottom out on some bumps in road when at 100mm. my g-max ones did this, but it caused no problem and all is good. 90mm were perfect however. im now running 100mm on coilovers and there mint and a vast improvment.

sounds like more hassle than its worth dude. all you have to do is be careful when lowering the car off the jack

mmm just worried about putting my car in for work, ok at the mo as a mate does all of it. Mainly worried about if i get caught out at speed with a bump and the car raises off the floor too much..... (not as in dukes of hazard style but you know what i mean)

just cable tie the spring down, help alot when jacking the car up etc and lowering it back down when your on your own....
helps alot..
my spax dampers sit on the bump stops when the arch just sits below the rim edge, and -100mm and the arch will be just above the wheel edge so should have abit of travel in them..

dont understand why people dont just buy the correct rear dampers
a fully adjustable rear shock at 65 quid isnt bad is it? this is the only real way to stop them falling out as well. I ouldnt reccoment cable ties or welding them to the beam either.

it doesnt seem a bad price for the dampers you sell, but ive not long bought spax rsx coilovers and -90mm rear springs, and now theres -100mm rears to get and shorter shocks so approx another £230
it is quite alot of money you know..
