My mate has a tapping kit which he uses to get them out. Drilled a hole then put a reverse tap thing in and undone it. Dunno whther that helps or not? phone your breakdown people and ask them, Thats what they are there for

You're talking about easi-outs I think mate. They could work, but it'd have to be a damn good set for the torque at which a wheel bolt is done up to.
May be a case of removing the hub and drilling it unfortunately

Very true but i guess its whether they were tightened by hand or not. But you get what i was on about tho lol

If you can get the wheel off you should be ok with stud extractors as said above because all the strain will be off the bolt.
Failing that you can weld a nut on the end of it if there is enough of it sticking out

But if the bolt has been tightened to such an extent that it's sheared the head/part of it the remaining part will still be tight in the hole.
The idea with the nut would prob be the best bet.
