my car failed its mot today due to my suspension. they said "suspension fouls on the body work when under laod"

1. what the f*** does that mean?
2. how can the suspension be no good as its only been on the car for a few weeks and covered no more than 200 miles and is brand new?

the kit is a -60mm gmax springs and shortned shocks. help would be much appreciated.

Go back and ask.

If they've found the fault they'll most likely know what to do about it

What wheels do you have on? is that the only thing it failed on ? put the standard suspension back on to get it passed, or if you cant be bothered try another garage.

The tester is just properly just being a fussy git!.

Hardly being fussy if its fouling off the body work then that is dangerous

If your not 100% sure what they mean then go back and ask the tester to explain what exactly needs done to resolve the problem

As I said and as B3KAN says, get him to physically point out the problem. Then you'll be sure what it is.

Why does everyone seem to think it's the wheels rubbing... in the description given it says

"suspension fouls on the body work when under load"

i.e - shockers fouling on inner arch, or something of that sort.

Surely it would be a case of 'wheels rubbing on body' if that was the case.
