I've got an Iphone that I want to link up to my car cd player. I've bought a FM transmitter which plugs into the Iphone and streams the music over the radio to the cd player. However it's crap and is really fuzzy and unuseable.

Would it be possible to link the Iphone in through an input on the back of the cd player head unit. It's just a basic mp3 head unit not specifically ipod compatible.
Or are there any other solutions I haven't thought of.
Any help / advice / info would be great, cheers.
