Hi,
Im trying to change the sterring wheel on my Dads Corsa but it wont come of has anyone got any Tips/Ideas?I have tryed almost everything.(I do not/am not going to buy a Steering Wheel Puller unless absolute need to)

Also apart from a Corsa GSI/1600 Sport,Which others cars share the same Brake Setup as them?As i need some Callipers + Carriers?

sometimes worked for me - worth a go

put key in ignition and turn it to 1st or 2nd position and push on the wheel ( with nut on still tho) it then springs off

leave the nut on till its flush then pull as hard as possible as someone hits the nut with a hammer

Safest and easiest way is with steering wheel puller, will only cost £10-15

yeh leave the nut on slightly so you don't end up with it in your gob when it comes off. i found pulling one side then the other plenty of times worked it off the splines quite easily.

TD Cav I think, i'm sure I put a hub off TD Cav onto a 1600 Sport once

td combo vans aswell have the sam size as the diesel engine are obviously hevier

Anyone anymore help with the Brakes as i need to know ASAP,As i will be going to the Scap Yard on Sunday to get a 1.6 Brake Setup(If i can)??

bang a set of 2 litre ones on for the same price, and they will bolt straight on the same as the 1600 calipers

Well im Going to bolt 2L ones on mine,But this is for my Dad as we already have some Brand New GM Discs + Pads!
I will look for a Combo Van!

just put your feet on the dash, leave the nut in on the last few threads and pull like a son of a bitch.

Its what I did.
