heya ll have a 1.4 sport standard just now, i dnt have the time or will have time to take the car off the road for to long for an engine swap but i do want more power
i was thinking a 4-2-1 manifold witha de-car system, one of teh power boxes from the chaps on here and a new induction cone with cold airfeed
what else can i do to my standard sport to achieve more power and are those mods a gd idea??
any help or input welcome
cheers

janspeed 4 - 2 - 1 manifold with decat
some sort of powerbox to replace the manifold as thats what restricts most of the power, eitha go cone with cold air feed or derestrict original air box with a k + n filter as told thats good and then a remap with raised rev limiter, after that theres not much else can do without spending silly money IMO

Id say with a lexmaul, filter, full exhaust system and remap would be around 110bhp.

looking at around 110bhp, 120 if your lucky and has the right set up etc
lexmauls are designed for 1.4s so are a gd choice if can get hold of one, rare to get and are pretty expensive when do come up for sale so keep an eye out

change bottom end, ecu, transponder and chip and violia a 1.6 instantly!

But if not ideal, the best thing to do is get a good induction kit eg: BMC (Not a cone) change the inlet system (the lexmaul being a good choice) and the exhaust 4-2-1 and a de-cat/sport-cat system then and cams with pullys and maybe map it then, should be sorted! Generally depends on budget really
