Right, it's out tonight/tomorrow...
Does anyone know where it'll be cheapest, e.g. Tesco had fifa for £27, just wondered if anyone had found anywhere that'll be selling evo for that kinda price?
Tempted to go somewhere at midnight to get it, but kinda pointless as i've got work at 6 in the morning

asda as far as i know, wish i had of waited i got mine for 40quid yesterday , the extra i paid wasnt worth the having it early i can assure you

It's horrendous, Fifa convert right here!
The stadium sounds are just repeated droaning of a 3 second sample, the crowd chants sound like they're not in the stadium. You hear a stupid 'thud' everytime you kick the ball and every kick is a curler and the commentary is so robotic Johnny 5 would be better than Champion and Lawrenson.
It's weird how they were superior to Fifa for years ever since the ISS games and the last 2 years Fifa has just overtaken PES in a rapid way, not only that PES has gone backwards.

im very dissapointed in it, gameplay is slow as feck and very frustrating especially in the become a legend mode. gonna try fifa me thinks

Become a legend mode is you running around alot waiting to finnaly get the ball, make a great pass at let your striker hit the cornerflag. cant belive you cant even call for the ball. however do like the way you start from the bench and such. editing is also brilliant wouldnt guess some arnt lienced once youve done them (on ps3, xbox still has to use webcam pics)

I'll be sticking with FIFA then. I'm the same as you Jiz, I have been a Pro Evo fan since ISS '98 and it's been the benchmark each year that FIFA couldn't achieve. Last year they were close, but I felt PES was just better. But this year, having played the demo of both, I refuse to buy PES as it was gash. FIFA convert once again

might sound a bit strange but i havent played pro evo since the old ps2, and i dont really like any of the camera angles that they use, what do other people use?

Yeah, got it for £27 from Asda as well, rather happy with it.
Personally i thought it was a good step up from the last one, enjoyed playing it earlier, it's smoother than previous additions and the graphics look very good on it, i'm mildly impressed with it.
Legend mode looks like it'll be a bit annoying but will get used to it, as with most versions of PES, it takes a little bit of time to get used to it.
Only thing that has annoyed me is that it was out today, the 17/10 and they haven't got all the transfers completed from deadline day, a month and a half ago, it wouldn't of taken long to change a couple of players.
Can put all your own music into the game as well instead of having the crazy japanese stuff.
As for camera angles, i reckon it'll just take a bit of getting used to as well.

i rate it so far the players and game play movement is soo relasitic!
it really does make you play football and pick a good pass!
legend mode is difficult and a slight bit boring but worth sticking with for a bit to see how it goes!

Cheers might actually get a shot at goal now  . Been editing all the teams and they come out looking better than fifa's kits. Found when playing a normal match the tempo is alot slower now and I seem to be getting red cards for moving, defences seem good thought seems alot harder to get through on goal.

From what Ive read the transfers are up to the date up to a certain day in august, apparently its to do with EA sports and their monopoly with the FIFA licenses meaning Konami can only carry the transfers up to that agreed date.

training matches are soo hard aswell.
im playing for villa and theres just no way past zac knight!
champs league is difficuly aswell as your players just dont make good enough runs! the wingers stick in ther own half

Took me 6 or 7 games to get in the team, i played 10 mins at the end of a game, gave the ball away, they scored, got dropped, had another 3 in the reserves, got on for the second half of the liverpool game, played ok finally.
SO annoying though, in acres of space and they try a 50yard lofted through ball instead of the easy ball. I tried 4 passes in the full half i played.
Really annoying not having a bit of pace or technique too, can't do anything but pass the ball

Reece, where did you get the kits from? I've changed all the badges so far, not got nerdy enough to try and sort the kits yet though.
