It's just a remote lightswitch
Can get them in B&Q but considerably cheaper online.
Don't work with fluorescent or enegy saving bulbs though .

It can be programmed to use any IR remote, just pick a button that's not used/not use often on a remote you use regularly.

Cant find any pics of it actually up and running atm...
Also got a lake/moat surrounding my parents house
Although the view out of mine is what I consider best although you cant really go out and buy it for your current one.

i always have a nose on your site nik, some cool stuff on there.
my toaster electronically lowers the bread up and down and pings when its finished. if you dont take it out of the toaster after 10 secs it lowers it back down to keep it warm.

I dont really think I have anything cool in my flat
My dad's just moved into his new flat in singapore....apparently he can unlock his front door from anywhere in the world using his mobile phone
I don't really know why you would want that but it's quite cool
