Is it a chance that a phone could be a fake? Loads of phones about on eBay, particularly Nokia E51 and E71 - just wondered if there is a chance some could be dodgey?

No
I just realised a BlackBerry was totally what I didn't need and people seemed to be carrying on conversations from other threads/experiences which gave me no info what so ever.

Always a chance they could be fake, espacially the fuckers on ebay!!!!The best thing to do is email the seller and ask for pics to be emailed to you including a pic of serial numbers, box and destructions and also a pic of it switched on and connected to a network.

oh and only buy from a seller with good positive feedback with 100+ transactions.this way you cant go wrong, and pay by paypal so you can get a refund if they have your pants down.

Because it's not a high value phone that everybody wants.
People fake the really expensive fashion nokias, not a business phone.
