My Mum's Forgot her password on her Toshiba Laptop for user & Admin log in how does she reset her Password or Change it whatever?

I used to have a boot CD that would reset any windows password if you've forgotton the admin one.

Cant remember the name of it.

Just google Linux password boot cd or similar, burn it to a disk and pop it in, run through and you can change passwords for the admin etc to something you can remember/nothing

turn your computer on, keep pressing F8 til you get a list of options of white writing on a black screen. go to safe mode. give it afew minutes to start up and you'll get the log on screen, just click administrator. there "shouldn't" be a password on it. if there is this is where my advice ends. if it works keep reading

go to control panel, user accounts, highlight your mum's account and reset the password

What andy said, Safe mode, Administrator, Start > Run, control userpasswords2, Click on you mums account, reset password!

If the above fails... download Hiren boot CD and reset the admin password using the password software on the CD at boot up
