Time to start looking for a new 0% deal, need to do a balance transfer.
Not done one for a while, is it tricky to get one these days? With all this credit crunch bollocks going on?
I know the last time Virgin kicked me back, but I've never had anything else declined before. I know it's not good for a credit rating to be declined credit, are there any that are easier to get than others?

I tried to get a Capital One card some time ago and they kicked me back....but offered me one with a stupidly high rate of interest insted ....which i kicked back
Edit, i've got an un-blemished credit record too. Never missed a payment or had any debt, had a mortgage for 2 years etc

Same with me, although ive been told apparently they knock you back on the best deals sometimes if your credit ratings good as they figure they wont make any money off you!!

Tesco Clubcard Credticard are doing 0% for 16 months/until 2010 some time
I don't have trouble, ever, cause I'm a student. Even ones which say "income at least £10k" I get them. Weird.

we went with VIRGIN in September, wanting 0% balance transfers.i applied on line.
wanted to balanced transfered £7k off another card. they gave it me!! all £7k transfered for 15months!!!
and my limite was £8300 on the card!!!!!
Back in september the credit crunch was kicking in.
But VIRGIn didn't seem to be bothered about it.
my wife did the same and she got hers too!!
with an even higher spend limit.
we've put the cards away safe.. as notto use them to buy on them... as its only 3months 0% on purchases.. and thats when the 15 months 0% becomes worthless as you pay off the purcases last... and at high rates you don't want to have that!
