On melissa's TV. It plays on mine at home and it plays on my brothers. All 3 are HD ready TV's and i connected to each TV with the HDMI cable. It also won't show the startup menu on Melissa's tele. The screen is just blue and says no signal Plays Brothers In Arms no problems and plays NFS Undercover no problem.
Anyone any ideas??

Total guess here, but is it anything to do with the refresh rate?, I dont have a PS3 but I remember a few games on my 360 wouldnt run until I had changed the refresh rate to 60hz in the settings on the xbox.

It might be but i can't get into the menu to change the settings as it won't show. means i'll have to go home to play football

boot the PS3 up without fifa in the drive and try changing the refresh rate before playing fifa. I dont know if you can do this on the PS3 but on the xbox it prompts you and the game wont boot until you change the refresh rate.

Thats another part of the problem, i have tried to boot it with no game in and i can't see the settings menu, i can't see the menu when you first get the thing and sort out all the settings.

Hold down the power button until you hear 2 beeps. That'll change the settings to work with your current TV.
