no doubt it retailers donw make much money on console sales to begin with the only thing that will change is likely to be the games or acesories included.
the next big price drop will be when sony decide to drop the price for every console, which could be a while.
however, prices will always fluctuate a couple of pounds here and there.

i thought they were the same as the 60GB but with bigger HD?
Mine has 4 USB ports and all the SD card slots

oh that explains why Second hand 60 GB PS3's sell for more than Brand new 80GB's 
so arguably the 60GB is the best PS3 Concole to have

yeah, i've got a 60 and its got it, i knew they got rid on the 40 version, but wondered if they were gonna bring it back for the 80
