Right before i get totally hacked off and launch this thing into oblivioan i though id see if anybody else can help
basically im trying to get my pc (correct spec) to recognise my 4th gen nano as an ipod and not a f**in mass storage device, iv tried everyhting possible on the appe sight, the 5 r's totally removed itunes reinstalled latest version etc,
which did make it recognise it for about 3 seconds then it starts to recognise it as a mass storage device again,
its the little yllow pop up box in windows that installs devices that keep coming up, 1st 2 say its an ipod there after a mass storage device and no matter what i do it wont pick up in itunes, but will in my computer.
anybody else had issues
P/.s forgot to mention, iv installed it on my mothers pc for brother (as its his for crimbo) and it worked ok but i cant get it to work on mine...basically i want to put music from mine onto his ipod.

i had this once, formatted it in filemanager, then unplugged, plugged back in.. then it was fine.
was on a gen2 though, may be no help.
