Ordered a 5.1 speaker system but it only has a 3.5mm jack like what goes into ipods etc. My TV doesnt have an earphone slot only the RED WHITE and YELLOW things  Can i get a cable to put into the RED and WHITE with a slot at the end to put a 3.5mm jack in?

You can get a cable for it but that's not 5.1, are you sure that's the only connection its got?

The wire coming from the speaker is like a earphone plug, but my TV doesnt have an earphone socket
Needs to be something like this but with a 3.5mm socket at the end. Cant seem to find one.

Thats the wrong thing, the speaker system has a 3.5mm cable coming out of it so how would i plug it into that? It needs to be a blank socket at the end of the cable so i can olug it into it.
Its hard to explain

The red and white needs to be male to go into my TV with a 3.5mm female at the other end... If that helps

Dont think its for mp3 players, my 2.1 system for my computer is the same aswell. Maybe its the way logitech do it as they are both logitech speaker systems.
