I sprayed the grille on my punto black, did a rush job but it looked ok, till it started flaking, do I re sprayed it. it looks shite now though full of flakey paint thats been painted over
its now got a shit load of primer and matt black over the original silver, how do I go about getting it back to the silver to paint again propperly?
what grit should I use to
A - get through all the old matt black and primer
B- key the silver ready for the primer

400-600-800 id imagine,
did you use plastic primer?

id paint stripper it , move fast tho so it doesnt eat the plastic , flat the plastic , plastic primer then coat it and coat it again with your colour

id go for using a fair few layers of plastic primer then another few layers of colour and finally couple layers of lacquer matey

i'd get some nitromors paint stripper on there, will take off everything and you can start again, make sure you use loads of laquer though so it doesnt chip easily

take it back to plastic with 180, then plastic primer it, then 400 or 600 it ready for paint
