hello i was just wondering if any one could help me out on one thing i have a vauxhall nova i brought as an unfinished project with a corsa sport x16xe lump in it whtich the lad could never get running after swaping it. the problem seems to be he hasnt wired in a key transponder or kept the key with the chip because he seemed to think it had no imobiliser. i was under the impression all x16xe had a chipped key and imobiliser i just wanted to make sure this is right before i buy my self a new ecu and chip and also does anyone know a way around the imobiliser can i by pass it in anyway to save me from buying a new ecu ? thanx for your help - p

id deffo be trying that before anything else, get a ecu, transponder and chips off ebay

Pretty sure all vaux 93 onwards had immobilisers etc

but all x16xe got them i think
