my cambelt has just snapped on my 1.4 16v engine. how can u tell if its bent any valves??? is it worth repairing if it has or red top it? average price for that if anyone knows cheers

If it was me id get a new camblet kit on it n see if/how it runs. If it doesnt work you havent lost anything

Well if you where going that Fast then Yes there will Deffo be some Serious Damage.

I managed to Fix my Car quite Cheap as i did most the Work My-Self but it still Costed £200ish.So its upto you Mate.

Redtop may be the Cheaper Option.

Im not 100% Sure as ive never Done one,So dont quote me on this,But to do it properly without cutting Corners I.E Buying Engine,Conversion Kit,Bigger Brakes,Suspension and at least a Part Rebuild of the Engine you'll be looking at near £1000+

If your not that bothered you could probz do it Cheap at like £500

Could someone back this up Please?

70! you the valve probly went through the piston lol
its happend to me on my 1.4 couple years ago, only bent 1 valve
