hi there i have a green pipe with i think is a breather where would it go
also the engine mangerment light is on as well
and my speedo dones not work
please help me

the speedo may well only be the fuse, have a lok at them all, the breather should probably go into the airbox? does it have an aftermarket filter on it?

1600 sport the speedo is probly a cable driven one,
if the speedo doesnt work you engine light will be on as the engine receives speed info from speedo i think, also does your engine cut out at junctions ect?

chances are its electric driven if its a sport. if it was cable it wouldnt make a dfference. as its electric it sends a pulse to the ecu to tell it when the cars still. thats why it keeps cutting out. pics of the green pipe would help or were in the engine bay it is

the cable driven ones affect ot aswell, my gsi was like it for a while before i treated it to a new speedo cable.

My sport is electric not cable. The green tube goes to a small black box in the top right hand corner of the engine bay should be a yellow one there aswell i think near to the bonnet sensor for the alarm (small blacl plunger type thing lol)

Where does the green tube lead to from the vacum box located in the top right hand corner of the engine bay. £10 please.
