my mates 1.4 sport is lacking power could it be gearbox or fuel pump... ino its not the clutch slipping

you need to be a bit more specific in wat ur sayin, does it rev and go no where does it struggle through the gears, is miss firing, not reving ect!!

when you put your foot down full throttle its tryin to pick up but just not as it would normally like its struggling but it does rev and yer its the same in every gear he says

first point of call i would check the crank alternator pulley to see if its still located in the correct position becuz they have a tendancy for skipping of the woodruff key and retarding the the spark timing as the sensor takes its input of it, the only way to check is to take it off and reposition it properly

i have no idea wot that means but ill take it to a garage and ask them but its not that long since had oil pump and new timing kit could it of been timed up wrong?

could of well been timed up wrong and this could of happened from when they did the belt ect,
