Hi all.
My mrs throttle on her sxi has become really tight, actually difficult to drive.
the pedals free as is the cable, it seems the throttle butterfly spring(s) have gone stiff.
is there any way of repairing? or is it a case of replacing?
has anyone else has this problem?.
cheers.

disconect the throttle cable from the throttle body and see if the pedal is still stiff, if not then its the springs on the throttle body,
if it is still stiff it will be the cable.. not a big job and fairly cheap

trip down scrappers and pic another one up..
most probaby is something that can be done with the spring..
personally id just strip it appart and dunk it in carb cleaner and then coat it in wd40 and lithiam grease but unless you confedent in doing this then go scrappers and get another one
