Got a wierd problem with the corsa.
Soleniod in tailgate to pop it.
Got wire running from battery, to fuse, to switch, to soleniod.
Got Earth from the soleniod to the original earth point on tailgate.
When tailgate is open, the soleniod pops no bother, getting 12v on the tester (2 out of 3 lights)
When the boot is shut, the soleniod doesnt pop, getting less than 11v on tester( one light)
Lowering the tailgate the tester slowly dims out, very odd (no lights)
The tester is in the +ve wire before the soleniod, so not the soleniod.
The wire from soleniod to the switch is one wire, no breaks, brand new wire (changed it twice)
Ran a wire from the earth on the soleniod to the -ve on the battery, no difference.
So, very odd, very confused, but not overly botherd as i dont plan on doing the shopping in it.
