As above please, just your experiences, positive and negative. Im more interested in reliability and speed than customer service, as long it works I wont need to use cust serv
Thanks
edit - Ive had a look at SamKnows and the property im looking at is about 1km give or take 0.5km from the nearest exchange

I have Virgin ADSL, its wank.
Always been slower than the BT we had before hand, randomly cuts out, doesn't like working between the hours of 12 till 2.
As soon as mother dear gets round to ringing for the mac code we are off.

Iv'e never had any problems, very reliable and the customer service has been very good when ive moved twice.
My biggest problem is speed, but im not hoping for miracles as im about 5 miles away from the exchange so it is always going to be slow.

Worst company ever. You WILL be back here complaining if you make the mistake.

I don't understand why you haven't read his question properly.

I didn't need the customer service until I had problems.

He's not llu so he can't get the cheap sky package, they charge about £17 and think they have a 40gig cap, o2 charge 17 and don't have a cap atm.

Won't that be cable though?
From my experiance, the ADSL service is wank. I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Its going to have to be Sky or Virgin, as they will both install their own landline for £25 / £30 respectively, unlike the robbing bastards at BT for £125

Do they install it even being non llu, didn't know that.
I'd go with sky, although i've had no experience of their llu service I know virgin are terrible so the lesser of 2 evils.

Yea non-llu they do the line switching business, only problem is because of the area the Sky BB is £17.50 or something a month + £10 line + £16.50 for TV which is obv £44 a month, thats £10 more than im paying now, plus youve got the actual line activation of £25 and the Sky install of £60 as well, so im definetly swaying toward Virgin, just because its cheap
