Changed the head gasket on my 106 1.5 diesel. Started it for the first time this morning and its still fucked.

Got exhaust gasses in the water and possibly oil in water and water in oil.

Any sugestions or do I just stip it again?

Na, I put a meal rule over it and it seemed all straight. Think im going to be having to strip it again and get it skimmed and pressure tested

Cracked block perhaps?

Would have recommended getting it skimmed as you were that far down its worth doing. Only costs about £20 from the local engineering shop, and they will pressure test it too for another £40.

£60 seems a lot of money but its priceless knowing that the head is spot on before it all goes pete tong because the head is not right.
