bought my 1.4 16v sport (P reg) a few days ago, and it runs hot, well hotter then my last to corsas..
after about 2minutes of driving its siting at 95 degrees, even at night it does it..
not using much water and oil is fine..
could it be the thermostat? would this cause it?
any ideas?

it would make the fun cut in at a lower temp so that it didnt reach as high an engine temp

that would make sense as one my old astra gsi i fitted a temp switch from a 1200 corsa to make the fan cut in at a lower temp and the cool running stat on my let engine kept the temp down but the heaters where pish
