it bangs really loud when i hit the smallest bump in the road, anyone had this problem, ive fitted them properly im sure of it, but going to strip it down and have a look asap...
any ideas?

i have the same problem with my fk's i was thinking it is just suspension noise as they are very firm lol and all my shocks check out the only thin to check is have you got any play in the rack?

its 100% not ment to be like it mate, its a clunk/bang sound right through the car..

Its bottoming out. Need to take them off again, strip them down, add the bumpstop from your orignal and voilour. (cut the bumpstop in half ideally so its smaller).

Yep, the bumpstop-hitting noise is horrible
I think you can but smaller ones, but if you can get the old one off and cut it yourself then there's not much point buying some.

i wouldnt say dont buy them, but you get for what you pay for, i mean if putting a bump stop in place stops the banging then yes i would say there fine to buy..

just want to say ive spent all morning sorting the fronts out, put the orginal bumpstop from standard shocks in, and another rubber spacer in place in the top mount and its sorted it, no knocks etc at all, little harsh ride but cant grumble at all..

so now u have put an old bump stop in dose it just hit the bump stop every time you go over a bump??

i have the same problem a very severe bang when going over speedbumps plus the collars are about 3mm away from the tyres and it sits alot higher at the front than with springs
