I acquired a PSP yesterday for a very very cheap price. Unfortunately it didn't come with a charger but I was assured it works otherwise I can have my money back anyway.
Just bought a charger and well, it's not doing much.
Should it be able to run off the mains? Or is it one of those where I'd have to leave it plugged in for a while to get some juice because it's totally drained?
Cheers

When mine is flat it wont switch on for a few mins after being plugged into the wall...
It is only a couple of mins before it has enough power to charge though.
Are you sure it hasn't been bricked?

If it was bricked then the power light would still come on mate. This one does absolutely nothing. Ah well, money back it is
Choker really as I got it for £30. Absolutely immaculate condition with rubber case, screen protector, carry case, 2GB Memory card, Simpsons, Test Drive, GTA & Ghost Recon.
Ah well.

could be a dud battery, if you've got a mate with a PSP try borrowing theirs.

you dont need a battery in there to use the mains power, take battery out and try mains.
i bought a bricked one off ebay, and flashed it.
cant remeber tbh but i think if its bricked no lights show on there, not got any one whos flashed theres if you put a magic memory stick and pandora battery in there it will boot it.
