Right I am a bit behind with this because my old man bought the house 5+ years ago
I haven't got a picture of the whole house but the only picture I have found is a picture which shows all of the houses my dads is on the left (the right hand side of it)
He bought the house back in 2003/2004 for £290,000 it needed a lot of work doing (the whole house needs a refurb)!
The house consists of 4 floors:
Ground Floor
Kitchen (in development)
Lounge (in development)
Study (in development)
Toilet (in development)
Utility room (in development)
Conservatory area (in development
Garage (door to attached garage) (Garage almost finished)
Pictures from November 2008
Digging up the foundations for the extension!
Building the extension
Recently the ground floor and garage has been fully refurbed / in the process of being refurbed (god knows how much it cost my dad ) I took some pictures of this with my phone last night (not very good pictures im afraid )
Garage (still in a mess)
Conservatory sorta room
You may notice the stairs on the side in here (waiting to be fitted) they are custom built oak stairs cost my dad £5k
Hallway
Kitchen area
What it used to look like...
Front door
Utility area / study room
1st Floor
Drawing room (needs to be refurbed)
Dining Room (needs to be refurbed)
Bedroom with en-suite (in development)
Rabbit gets a place in the new bedroom
Old back garden pic (not all of it) comes with a Great Dane puppy too
How the back garden is looking at the moment
Will update the thread later on c+c welcome

Cheers, I asked my dad about it last night and he said it's mains pressurised and pumped through as well it needs to be really with the amount of sinks / showers / baths we'll have!
edit: not sure on how big it is either it doesn't have a huge front or back garden (will get more pics at some point)

Eventually, I think or he said that this will be part of mine and my siblings inheritance!

Cheers, I will try and find some older pics of the house to show what work has been done etc so you guys can see the difference and how the house is coming along!

Not quite,
Well it's his and my stepmums place I think their joint income is over £100k a year but most of it goes on the house!
I forgot to mention earlier that the plans for the ground floor are:
- Under floor heating throughout
- Slate flooring throughout (as seen in some of the pics) the orange mats on the floor have been put down to absorb the movement of the slate
- Open floor plan (only doors will be to the toilet, garage etc) makes it look a lot bigger!
Just a general refurb really, my dad and stepmum are also trying to make things alot more original too the cornece (sp) work which is seen in the en-suite and will be used throughout the house is a pain in the arse to put up and expensive but it does look the part!!!
So far I think it's cost them over £100k but it'll look really good in say 5 years time or so!
I will also update with more upstairs pics... thanks for the comments so far!

Took some snaps of the front garden today!
The hedges definately need a trim back and with it being half term next week I get the joy of helping out!
Note the huge container is there temporarily as it contains most of our stuff from the garage

So he made £199940 profit (- renovation costs)
When you say £60, do you mean £60 from 1970 when it was worth £150k in todays money?
