Tapping is normally common anyway, you have a Corsa Sport 
Check the oil. I had one that kept lossing oil due to Valve Stem Seals and the tappets starting getting noisy. So make sure the oil is topped-up.
Otherwise Tappets may be on way out possibly, a mate of mine had to get a new set.

ok mate cheerz im doing a service on it anyway new oil filter plugs etc... so see how it is after that

Mine was noisey...did the service, oil and filter change etc...still noisey...where can i get tappets from and is it a hard job to put right? is it head off work or just the cam rocker cover and cams out...im not mechanically minded obviously.

take your camshaft off, start the car and if there's no oil squirting out over your valves, then you have a broken oil pump or it's blocked somewhere.
