not done much to the absolute mess I call a garden as Ive been working inside when its wet.
This is a plan of the grounds showing house and garage. Its quite a large garden, measurements are in Metres:
I started off with this jungle 18 months ago:
Then we chopped some trees down:
Can you spot me?
And chopped pretty much everything else out:
Then loads regrew so I cut it down and sprayed killer on it this year:
cut the grass twice (left dead grass on top):
Moved a pile of bricks:
Took the outhouse down, bought a new shed (for now) and getting the large shed and garage ready to come down:
started to dig a boarder to stop weeds coming through the fence:
PLANS:
No idea....
I need:
Double garage, decking, garden, driveway for 4 cars and some other bits and bobs
full garden needs lifting 2 foot and a drain putting in, and I need like 100m of fencing (proper stuff, not sheets, and metal posts) put in right around
any ideas would be appreciated, I need it low maintenance as its bloody hard work keeping all the crap back as it is!!!
I will keep you updated lol

pity you got rid of all the trees
if they were blocking alot of light i can see why mind
front looks alot better with the chips down
as for the back id get it all cleared, including sheds and everything so you can see the garden as a whole and try to plan from there
always think grass is nice, dont like just chips and decking personally

trees came out as I would like the garage there, plus nothing under them would get any light

emptied the shed today and built the new one...going to smash old one down with a hammer tomorrow if its sunny, should be a laugh LOL
Also dug up the first 8 foot of grass as its fucked, has a load of clay and soil dumpped on one side and 100s of smashed up bricks under the other side
also found out i have a garden path!
Need to put some pegs in to get a level, estimated 80 tons of soil to level off the garden lol

Hope you're being careful with the asbestos? Dealing with loads of the stuff at work atm and the amount of Health and Safety involved with it is amazing, but it can kill you so I can understand why.
Nice space to be working with though, I'm quite jealous tbh. Plus I like knocking stuff down, and it looks fun.

I was reading an old apprentice training book i found at work the other day, from about the 80's and it was describing different materiels in use etc, and was going on about how good asbestos is(was). Like its the best thing since sliced bread

building a large wall across from rear of house to the other side, large double gates for cars and a single for people.
80 ton of soil/hardcore to build garden level, put some land drains in
100m of fence, proper fencing not just panels
block pave up to gates
double garage with pitch roof
decking etc to do too
..............basically a load of stuff due to the size, it wont happen this year though as insides are still in need or doing upstairs and we have a double extention being built in september next door
