What is it?
I know EGR is RE-circulation valve.

reduces your emissions by a petty amount,if clogged up it makes the car run like shit. you can blank it off for nothing and doesn't really effect the car at all. expensive to replace

I think your talking about the EGR? If so i have just blanked it off and why has it got 2 fault codes and 2 names ?? lol

EGR exhaust gas recirculation valve

reduction of nox by letting small amount of exhaust gas back into the inlet system diluting the air/fuel mixture and reducing nox

But my diagnostic has thrown up CIRCULATION valve, not RE-CIRCULATION valve,
the code is 0400 which is not the EGR code
