bought some of here the otherday and theywont adjust i have had them soaking in vinager for 2 nights and have a drill with a wire brush on them still wont move anybody got any ideas what else i could do?
I have already used a chissel and hammer and wd40 btw .

are you defo turning thme the right way - might sound stupid, but you never know


stick them in a vice and hammer round is the only way i would say when they are proper siezed

thats what i have tried tonight but without the vice had them on the floor with some one standing on them they were on a step so they would still adjust tho, had a hammer and a chissel and a hammer and C spanner not really any luck got one of te bottom lock rings of that was it tho

wee gas blow lamp and some big fuck off pipe pliers is how i sorted my avos

would a heat gun work i fort metal expanded in heat or is it the other way round :S lol

metal expands but yuor adjuster rings will be metal, i just kept keating it up slowly then spraying wd40 in it then after a while attacked it with the pipe pliers and got a few turns then just kept doing it till the thing was off then i wire brushed the threads and copper slipped them to death
